Call for Presentation - Due January 8, 2008

You are cordially invited to submit a proposal to present at the 2008 National Career Clusters' Institute. Our theme for this year is "Career Clusters: The New Horizon." Based on the evaluations from the 2007 Institute, we will retain our focus on answering the question: "How are states and local institutions addressing the 15 Critical Components of Career Clusters' implementation?" The 15 Critical Components are listed below; a more detailed description of the 15 Critical Components can be found on the web site at www.careerclusters.org/implementation.cfm. Past evaluations inform us that our participants are looking for specific how-to, replicable advice that goes beyond awareness of career clusters to specific implementation strategies. Please use this feedback to guide the structure and focus of your presentation.

This session will not promote a specific vendor, product or service.

Speakers must register at (www.careerclusters.org) no later than May 2^nd to avoid late fees and to receive the speaker discount of $75. **If registering after the May 2nd deadline, the rate will increase (see chart below). The Institute registration will be discounted for up to three presenters/speakers per presentation. For those speakers coming only to present their session and not attending other Institute sessions, registration is not required.
Note: Speakers will receive a $75 discount off the cost of the Institute registration fee. If you are registering as part of a team, the team discount does not apply to speakers.

No expenses or fees related to attendance or presentations will be provided.

Presenters are responsible for bringing their own computers and handout materials.
